Festival & Events Calendar for Folly Beach, SC
From a New Year’s Eve flip flop drop to fireworks over the ocean, Folly Beach celebrates all year. Most festivals take over Center Street for the day, and many are free. Every event below has its own page with the date, time, location and tickets.

Tips for Folly Beach Event Days
- Arrive early. Big events fill the island fast, and there’s only one road on and off. See our tips for avoiding traffic.
- Know the parking rules. The city enforces them, especially on event days. Read up on parking on Folly Beach.
- Pack light. Center Street closes to cars for most street festivals, and glass, coolers and pets usually aren’t allowed.
- Stay the night. Book one of our vacation rentals or hotels and walk to the fun.
