Beachside Boutique Inn is a quirky mix of inn rooms and private cottages on East Cooper Avenue, a block from the beach and a short walk from Center Street. Owners Michael and Christy started it in their own family home, and every room is different, from the Costa Rican Bungalow to the Drunken Sailor and the Surf Shack.
It is one of the most dog-friendly places to stay on Folly: every private cottage and a couple of the inn rooms take pets. A continental breakfast is included, and there are free bikes, beach chairs, hammocks and a fire pit. Some of the buildings have their own stories, including a 1930s military building and a former dentistās office that is now a cottage.
