About Dead Low Cafe

Dead Low started as a coffee truck on Folly in 2022 and opened its café on East Ashley Avenue in 2024, a block from the beach and around the corner from Center Street. The name comes from the dead low tide that local surfers watch for. It is one of the island’s go-to spots for a serious coffee and a light breakfast or lunch.

What to order

Pair a latte or matcha with the avocado toast or a salmon bagel, and grab a cinnamon roll for later. Vegans and gluten-free eaters have real choices here, including the baked goods.
